is this a poor excuse for a boyfriend? Do I deserve better?
1. We did nothing special on Valentine's Day. He took me to Pei Wei (I hate Pei Wei) and I was so angry at his selfishness that I did not get anything. I made him a homemade card and he did nothing special for me whatsoever.
2. He insults me much more than he compliments me. For instance, according to him, my armpits are really ugly, this lotion I use smells bad, I'm a distraction from his schoolwork, I worry about dumb stuff, and the list just goes on and on
3. Finals are approaching and he's pushing me away because he's very stressed. I tried explaining that in relationships, you stick with each other through tough times. You don't just put me on the back burner when times get hard. He didn't understand.
4. He hates my friends and constantly talks crap about them, whereas I dislike many of his friends, but keep it to myself.
Should i dump his sorry butt?
!. Valentines day sucks....so who cares? But if it matters to you then it matters to you I guess
2. Have you seen an attractive armpit? I get the lotion thing. He chooses to let you distract him from his school work, maybe you DO worry about dumb stuff (I do).
3. Truthfully, it sounds like he is trying to push you away in general. I think maybe you're crowding him.
4. It happens. And when things end then you have your people and he has his.
Overall.....I think you're probably crowding him. Try giving him some space. Like.....don't call, text, im, email or drop by for a few days. If he doesn't call you after like 3 days....then maybe you should end it quietly and move on with yourself.
