Recommendation for combo soap/wax?
I was shopping for a new carton of car wax today when I saw a bottle of combined soap and wax (liquid). Even Turtle sold some of this stuff. The directions said to apply to a small area of the car at a time, then wash/rinse, before going to next part of the car.
Seeing as how I hate to wax, this seems like a perfect solution for me. At least some brands didn't seem to cost much more than a pure-soap/wash container, so I was thinking of giving it a shot. Is this really just as good washing with soap first, then applying the wax separately? I would not be using any special equipment, just elbow grease and the pads/sponges.
im assuming youre talkign about wash and wax soaps
they really offer very little protection
nothing is good as an actual wax application
if you use one of those soaps on a car that already has wax on it
itll help boost protection,
but them alone, worthless
