Why does Naruto still turn into a frog using Sage Mode without using the toad oil?
Since he is just gathering natural energy without any toad related things like the oil, why does the natural energy still cause him to acquire the characteristics of a toad? It's just nature energy, not some sort of toad energy.
Senjutsu doesn't require toad oil. It only speeds up the process of gathering energy, which made it easier for Naruto's training. Either way, when you'll begin to transform into a toad. The ability itself stems from Mt. Myoboku, which is probably why you wouldn't need any sort of toad like inclination to transform.
