Can I bake brownies in a loaf pan, or cupcake liners?
I would like to make half a batch of brownies instead of the full recipe, but I don't want to use my regular 8x8 pan because they will be too flat. Instead, I was thinking of using either a loaf pan, or a cupcake tin. My question is, how would I change the cooking time and temperature if I were to do so? Is it even possible, or would my brownies come out badly?
yes you can. all you need to do is to look at the time, if the brownies you always make bakes around 40-45 minutes, you might need to take 20-25 minutes off. it is all about the efficiency of your oven and timing basically.
i bake my brownies in a silicon muffin mold for a plated individual dessert. of course i had to do a couple of times to get it right especially i make mine with the center very soft and gooey.
just keep an eye on the brownies after 17-20 minutes in the oven and it should be alright.
